Alanna Levy

Alanna G. Levy is an attorney at Marasco & Nesselbush, representing Social Security Disability claimants within the firm’s Social Security disability practice group.

Alanna completed her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University, graduating cum laude. She earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Massachusetts School of Law where she was honored with the Outstanding Law Student Award from the National Association of Women Lawyers. She is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.

Alanna is dedicated to championing individuals in need. Prior to law school, Alanna worked as a legal assistant at a pharmaceutical litigation firm. She advocated on behalf of military veterans and service members who suffered from tinnitus and hearing loss, and on behalf of women and their families who alleged the use of personal hygiene products caused their ovarian cancer.  Alanna also co-authored a research study, analyzing barriers reported by clinicians who cared for pregnant women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

During law school, Alanna supported survivors of domestic violence in Boston and the Massachusetts South Coast and gained invaluable courtroom experience as a lead student attorney in family law matters. In addition, her judicial internship with the Honorable Raffi Yessayan of Bristol County reinforced her understanding of the need for accessible legal counsel.
