Before joining Marasco & Nesselbush, Douglas worked at Decof, Barry, Mega, & Quinn where his efforts helped secure millions of dollars for clients injured by medical malpractice, defective products, motor vehicle accidents, and professional malpractice.

Additionally, he served as a judicial law clerk for Associate Justice Francis X. Flaherty of the Rhode Island Supreme Court. He also practiced as a student attorney for the Rhode Island Public Defender’s Office and the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in Taunton, Massachusetts.

Douglas graduated from Providence College, majoring in history, with a minor in political science, and earned his J.D., graduating magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2009. While at Suffolk, Douglas was an Associate Executive Editor of the Suffolk Law Review.

He is admitted to practice law in the states of Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Douglas was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2013 to 2020.

He is a member of the Executive Board of the Davisville Free Library in North Kingstown. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, getting outdoors, and rooting on the Pats, Celts, Bruins, and Sox.
