What is social security disability?

What is social security disability? Social Security Disability is one of the most popular social programs in the history of America. The Social Security Administration offers two disability programs, one is SSDI which stands for Social Security Disability Insurance and the other is SSI which stands for Supplemental Security Income. Both of these programs offer PASS benefits to individuals who are disabled and cannot work full time because of a sickness or an illness whether it be physical or mental.

If you have been impacted by a disability or illness, it is important that you apply for Social Security as soon as possible. The application process can be tedious and drawn out, so it is better to start sooner rather than later. There are a number of different ways to apply, but one helpful way is to work with an attorney so that you ensure you are qualified as a candidate.

If you cannot work because of a physical or mental illness feel free to give us a call and we will evaluate your case and let you know whether we think you qualify for either of the Social Security disability programs. We’ll be happy to guide you every step of the way.
