On Wednesday, July 29th, from 12 pm-2 pm, team members from Marasco & Nesselbush, visited Jonnycake Center of Peace Dale to help assemble and pass out their 4th of July BBQ boxes. Since its beginning, the Jonnycake Center has had a mission to provide basic needs, resources, and hope to community members in South Kingstown, Narragansett, Jamestown, and Block Island.
This was the third year the Marasco & Nesselbush Charitable Foundation has participated in this event with a donation of 400 pounds of hamburger meat and 200 packs of hot dogs to help service 200 families in need. Team members were able to visit the new Jonnycake Market which recreates a true grocery store experience for visitors.
“We believe strongly in the mission of the Jonnycake Center and are happy to once again support the Center’s important work in providing food security for families in need here in South County,” said Joseph Marasco.
